Thank you for your patience while we faced difficult decisions to temporarily change our operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are very grateful to have you back to The Hills in person! Due to the pandemic, we have had to make some procedure changes to ensure The Hills remains a safe place for you to serve + worship and a safe place for our guests to encounter Jesus.
SAFETY & SANITATION:
TEMPERATURE CHECKS: To ensure all Hills Teams are free of COVID-19 symptoms, we will be doing temperature checks for all attendees + Hills Team members prior to entering the worship center with touch-free thermometers. If anyone has a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, they will be politely asked to return home.
FACE MASKS: All Hills Team Members and Hills Weekend Gathering Attenders will be required to wear face masks while moving throughout the worship center and are free to remove them when seated in the main sanctuary.
SANITATION: The Hills will provide antibacterial hand washing stations within the worship center restrooms, and antibacterial hand sanitizer stations will be located in both the worship center lobby and sanctuary. Hills Team members are encouraged to sanitize their hands throughout their time serving out of respect for our Weekend Gathering Attenders, and any Hills Team members who will be handling coffee will be required to wear disposable gloves. Hills Teams will maintain increased housekeeping practices including routine cleaning & disinfecting of restrooms, door handles, worship center chairs, and Cafe Team kitchenette.
ELIMINATION OF SHARED ITEMS: The Hills will eliminate the risk created by touching shared items. Going forward, there will be no offering buckets passed between Weekend Gathering Attenders and no public coffee stations [but don't worry - we'll hand deliver coffee with gloves].
SOCIAL DISTANCING: The Hills will maintain social distancing protocols within the worship center by having Weekend Gathering Attenders enter and exit the worship center in separate locations. Also markers will be placed on the ground leading up to and within the worship center to indicate where a Weekend Gathering Attender is to position themselves safely. Worship center chairs will be limited in number and spaced so that families and individuals can be safely spaced within the sanctuary. Hills Ushers will escort all guests to their designated seating area. Once the main sanctuary is at capacity, overflow seating will be utilized in the worship center lobby, outdoor patio, and Hills Kids classroom.
